Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. This time I will show you my experience in Extensive listening class. My assignment this time, I have to listen short stories from YouTube, then I will make the summary from the story that I have hear. After that, in the third report I will, imagine if I am the main character, and I will tell you what will I do if I am the main character. I hope you enjoy it.

First story

My Sister stole my diary and now I become her puppet

I have watched and heard a story entitled My sister stole my diary and now I become her puppet on You tube from Short stories channel. I watch the story on Friday 19 February. The link of the story is below the picture.

This story tells about Vivian who hate her sister, that one year older than her. They never got along since they were little. To deal with her problem, Vivian write a diary about all the things she fell. Every time Vivian finished writing her diary, she would hide it. But she did not realize if her sister knows her hiding place. When Vivian is not at home, her sister reads the diary and find Vivian’s greatest secret. The secret is Vivian kiss her best friend’s boyfriend at the party. When Vivian come back to home, she being threatened by her sister, that she would tell her best friend about her secret, if Vivian not follow her orders. Vivian forced to follow her sister’s orders. One day Vivian can not longer stand follow her sister’s orders. So, she decides to deny her sisters orders and try to apologize to her best friend.

I like the story because the story uses clear animation, so I can follow the storyline well. The story also has a clear voice, and I can hear some words well.

The lesson from this story is don't be afraid to admit your mistakes.

 

 

 

The second story

I sat next to a serial killer on an airplane

I have watched a story entitled I sat next to a serial killer on an airplane from Short stories channel on You tube. I watch the story on Saturday 20 February. The link of the story is below the picture.

This story tells about Bella who wants to go to her sister’s collage, because her sister is graduating. This is Bella’s first time get on a plane and she is very nervous. Inside the plane, there is a man named Pretty sitting next to her. They chatted when the plane took off. On the way Bella fell asleep, and when she woke up, Pretty is not beside her. Bella think he is on the toilet. Then Bella takes a newspaper and read an article about a serial killer. Bella is shock, because the photo of the serial killer on the newspaper is exactly the same as the face of Pretty’s face. Frantically Bella press the emergence button on her seat and when a flight attendant approach her she is fainted. When Bella conscious, the flight attendant tries to calm her down. When they land, Bella sees Pretty get busted by the police. Apparently, there is a flight attendant who believe her and make a call to the airport before they land.

I like the story because the story uses clear animation, so I can follow the storyline well. The story also has a clear voice, and I can hear some words well.

 

The lesson that I get from the story is we have to be careful of people we barely know. Second, we must try not to panic when there is a problem.

 

The third story

Am I a boy or a girl? Even my parents can’t tell me

I have watched a story entitled Am I a boy or a girl? Even my parents can’t tell me, from short stories channel on You tube. I watch the story on Saturday 20 February.

This story tells about a girl named George. She is named George for a very difficulty reason that it’s hard for her to deny. Everything starts when her parents her brother named Harry gets into a car accident and Harry pass away. Two years later, her mother become pregnant. Her parents really want a boy. But after her mother gave birth, it turns out her mother has a daughter. Then her parents give her name George. Since childhood George is treated like a boy. Even when George is twelve and go to the middle school, she is wearing a boy’s uniforms. Her friends are also mostly male. Other than that, she behaves like a boy. One day George fell in love with one of her friends. Now she is confused, she wants to be like a normal woman, but she doesn’t want her parents to be sad about losing Harry.

I like the story, because the story uses clear animation, so I can follow the storyline well. The story also has a clear voice, and I can hear some words well. I  can also learn how to pronounce every word from the story, and some new words.

The lesson that I take from this story is, do not impose something that you shouldn’t doing.

If I am George, I will talk to my parents to show to all people the truth, if I am a girl. I will also tell them to not be sad anymore over Harry’s death.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reading Report 1

 

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. This time I will show you my new experience in Extensive listening class. My assignment this time, I have to listen stories from YouTube, then I will make the summary from the story that I have hear. I hope you enjoy it.

 

The first story

The old Lion and the Fox

I have watched and heard story entitled the old Lion and the Fox from Pinkfong! Kids Songs & Story channel. I hear this story on Friday 5 February.

This story tells about tell about an old lion who is starving, but the lion is too old to hunt a food. When the old lion is lying under a tree, a mouse walk in front of the old lion. Then, the old lion catches the mouse, and tell to the mouse for inform to all animals in the jungle to visit it because the old lion is sick. The animals in the jungle are agree to visit the lion. One by one, the animals go visit the lion, but nothing one animal come back after visit the lion. A fox in that jungle fell something is wrong. Then, the fox decided to visit the lion. The lion is very happy, because the lion eats a lot. But the lion realizes that there is one animal that he has no eat. The animal is the fox. When the fox arrives at the front of the lion’s cave, the fox sees strange things. There are many animal’s footprints that enter the lion’s cave, but nothing gets out. When the lion realizes if the fox has arrived in the front of cave, the lion calls it. But the fox knows if the lion will eat it. Then the fox runs and go back to the jungle. And after that, no one animal come near the lion’s cave again.

I like the story, because the story uses simple words that make me easy to understand all the plot. Furthermore, the story makes expressions on the animations well, so we can understand what the animation fell during dialogue in the story.

I learn some important things from this story. The first thing is, I can learn how to pronounce every word from the story. Second, I can learn some new words from the story.

Lesson that I can take from this story are, do not trust to a people easily, and think first before doing something.

The second story

The White Snake

I have watched and heard story entitled The White Snake from English Fairy Tales on You Tube. I watch this story on Friday 5 February.

This story tells about a royal servant who always serves his king. Every night after diner, the servant will serve the last food with the plate closed. One night the servant curious with the closed dish which he always presented to his king after diner. He decides to open the closed dish, and find a white snake which has been cooked on the dish. Without thinking he then eat the food on the dish. After the servant eat the food, he can hear two sparrows speak about princess’s ring that lost because eaten by the duck. Then, the servant goes return the ring to the princess. After that, the servant obtain award a horse and an amount of money, because he wants to go around the world. With his power that can listen to the animals the servant goes past the forest. In the middle of his trip, the servant finds three fishes who are strand on the banks of the river because they are tangled up in the seaweed.  The servant soon rescues the three fish. The three fish are happy and they say to the servant they will remember the servant’s goodness. After that, the servant continues his trip, and meet with an ant king and some group ants behind the ant king. The servant suddenly stops his horse that almost jam on the king of ants. The ant king thanks to the servant, and he say we will remember you. Then, the servant continues explore the jungle, and meet with three little ravens that can not fly on the ground. When the servant bears down on the three ravens, he hears them cry and hungry. Then the servant kills his horse and give it to the three ravens. The three ravens thank to the servant and they say they will always remember his goodness. After that the servant continue his trip and arrive in a large city. In there he hears an announcement from the king that said, if who wants to marry his daughter, he has to past three challenges. The servant falls in love with the princes and he amenable the challenges. The first challenge he has to find a ring that throw away depth the see. The servant succeeds, because he got help from three fish that he ever helps. The second challenge is, the servant must gather the grain that which has been sound on the ground as much as ten sacks. The servant succeeds, because he got help from an ant king and his troops. The last challenge is he have to find the golden apple from the tree of life. Then he goes search for the golden apple without know where is the tree of life’s location. In the middle of his trip he feels so tired. Then, he sleeps under a tree. When he wakes up, he startled to see a golden apple on his lap and three crows standing in front of him. Then, the servant brings the golden apple to the princes. After that they married and live happily ever after.

 

I like the story, because the storyline is easy to understand and the story makes expressions on the animations well, so we can understand what the animation fell during dialogue in the story.

I learn some important things from this story. The first thing is, I can learn how to pronounce every word from the story. Second, I can learn some new words from the story.

Lesson that I can learn from this story is, we have to help each other. Furthermore, we have to esteem all people although the degree below us.
