An Interview With

 

Hay every one, welcome back to my blog. Now I will show you my experience reading on English e-Reader. This time I got an assignment that must be work with a partner. The project name is “An interview with”. Me and my partner will choose one story on English e-Reader, then we will choose each one a different character from the story. Next, we will make an interview about the main problem from the character of the story that we have read. Enjoy…..

We have read story entitled Amazon Rally by Amos Eduardo. This story has 1.436 words from 6 pages. This story is contained in A2 elementary level on English e-Reader.

This story tells about two man named David and Brian that want to enter the race which is called Amazon Rally. When the race is almost starting, Brian got a problem. His motorcycle had an oil leak. David gives Brian some glue and Brian use it to cover the leaking oil. The race is start, and both fight with other racers. In the middle of race, David and Brian meet with Indian tribes. Then, the Indian took both to their village. In the Indian’s village, David and Brian meet with Astrid from German.  She’s working there with the Indians. Then Astrid tells them why the Indians took them to their village. Because the Indians not likes the miners. They though David and Brian are the miners, so the Indians took them to their village. David asks to Astrid, why they are not likes the miners. Astrid answered, the miners wants the Indians place and sometimes, they come and kill the Indians. Knowing that things, Brian hurried go to the police station at Una-Una with Caruak as a guide to Una-Una. They managed to go to the police station. Then the police go to the Indians place and managed prevented the miner’s action. After that, Maoni as the Indian chairman, give gifts to David and Brian as well as nicknames to them. Then, David and Brian continued the race and finished it with defeat.

I’m happy with this project, because I interviewed as if I were the reporter TV. Me and my partner had a little trouble when we record our interview. It’s a funny experience.

Hay everyone, welcome back to my blog. Now I will show you my experience reading on English e-Reader. This time I will write a blurb based on the story that I have read. Have enjoy……

I have read book entitled The Mummy by David Levithan. This story has 6.505 words from 28 pages. This story contained in pre-intermediate level.

This story tells about a High Priest of the Dead named Imhotep. He was punished for having an affair with Pharaoh’s wife named Anck-Su-Namun. When they got caught, Anck-Su-Namun stabbed herself with hope Imhotep would bring her back to live. Imhotep love’s for Anck-Su-Namun is enormous. Then Imhotep bring The Book of the Dead that can rise a person to rise up Anck-Su-Namun.  But in the middle of his ritual, Imhotep get caught by The Med-Jai shoulders. Then imhotep was punished to be a mummy cruelly. No body can bring Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun back to the world of the living or he will make everybody in the world his mummies. Just in case, The Med-Jai shoulders will guard Imhotep’s grave in a manner hereditary.

3.215 years letter, many humans research and look for jewelry in the city of death. But they are research to close with Imhotep’s grave, and accidentally raised Imhotep up. Then the peoples looking for a way to return Imhotep to the realm of the death and they managed.

The main characters in this story is, O’ Connell, Evelyn, Jonathan, Beni, Imhotep, and Anck-Su-Namun.

Hello every one, welcome back to my blog. Now I will show you my experience reading on English e-Reader. This time I will choose one scene in the story that I have read and I will draw that scene. Next, I will give my reason why I choose the scene and explain about the picture. Enjoy…….

I have read story entitled Mr. Bean in Town by Richard Curtis. This story has 4.246 words from pages. This story contained in level B1 pre-intermediate level.

The first part of the story tells about one man named Mr. Bean who is having a birthday and he thinking to make his important day is happy. After thinking he decided to go to restaurant for dinner at evening. Many things experienced by Mr. Bean at the restaurant. Much of it is dissatisfaction. But with his genius and the crazy things he does, he managed to solve his every problem experienced at the restaurant.

The second part the story tells about Mr. Bean that want to wash his clothes in the laundry. And again Mr. Bean cannot free from problem. Even this time crazier than when he was in the restaurant. But this is Mr. Bean, he always has a way and a wat out of every problem. He always takes risks and do crazy things to solve his problem.

My favorite scene is, when Mr. Bean pretended to drink his coffee which actually is conditioner. I choose this scene because I think this is the most reckless that Mr. Bean do. Just so he wouldn’t be suspected he is willing to drink the conditioner. Its crazy thing but funny.

This is my drawing result when Mr. Bean drink the conditioner. I draw it with strange face because I imagine his face when he drinking the conditioner.
