 Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. My assignment this time is interviewing. I will watch three news from YouTube, then I will pretend to interview three people with different backgrounds. I hope you enjoy it.

The first news

I have watched a news entitled Sriwijaya air crash: Divers search wreckage as black box hunt resumes,

from BBC News channel on YouTube. I watched this news on Friday. 

The news tells of the livelihood and rescue of Sriwijaya aircraft that fall in the sea. This news informs about discoveries already made by search teams, such as jackets, airplane engines, pieces of the human body, and so forth. The news also reported about the search team looking for the black box under the sea that  blocked by the airplane's debris. Additionally, this news also informs about the victims' families, who are preparing DNA samples for the process of identification.

Comment

I like the news, because it is delivered briefly and clearly. Furthermore, the news  is also delivered directly from the venue of the airplane crash.

Added: The news uses a lot of words that are easy to understand, so it makes the news easy to understand.

Information

Through this news, I obtained information about the livelihood of the Sriwijaya plane that fell into the sea. Besides, I'm also getting some new words like, turbine, navy, meanwhile, debris, and retrieve.

Problem

I did not get into a lot of problems when I watched this news. I only get a little confused when the reporter speaks fast.

Summary

This news informs about the death of an actor named Paul Walker and a pro racer named Roger rodas. In this news, it is said that Paul Walker  and Roger Rodas are driving a brand Porsche carrera GT racing car at the speed of 240 miles an hour, which is very difficult to drive even for professional drivers. The news also tells that the accident occurred in a business park shortly after they left. In addition, the news also shows another film played by Paul walker.

The problem that I get when I watch this news is, sometimes the reporter talks fast. In addition, I also got some new words that I didn't understand.

The news tells about the death of a 15-year-old student named Zaenon Dobson. On the news, it is said that Zaenon Dobson is shot by a gun to death while trying to protect his three friends. This news also tells that Zaenon Dobson is a student from Fulton high school and a football player. In addition, the news also shows emotional comments from the police chief and from coach Fulton high school team.

From the news, I got information about the death of a 15-year-old student from Fulton high school. Besides, I'm also getting some new vocabulary like, tears, struggling, honoring, and apparently.

The problem that I get when I watch this news is, sometimes the reporter talks fast and I get some new words that I didn't understand.

Me: Hai, good morning Mr. Lionel Messi, what do you think about the murder that happened to Zaenon Dobson?

Messi: I think that is a very brave thing to do. And it's my first time seeing a football player sacrifice his life for his friend. Seriously, that's very brave.

2. Jeffrey Preston Bezos

Jeffrey Preston Bezos is the richest businessman in the world in modern history. He is the founder, chairman, CEO, President and majority shareholder of the largest tech company in the amazon world.com.

Me: Hello Mr. Jeffrey. How do you respond to the assassination of Zaenon Dobson?

Jeffrey: He is very brave. Honestly I feel sad to hear this news.

3. Henry William Dalgliesh cavill

Henry William Dalgliesh cavill is a great British actor. He has given roles in a lot of movies, one of them is superman.

Me: Hai good morning Mr. Hendry. What is your reaction about the assassination of Zaenon Dobson?

Hendry: Honestly, I'm a little surprised. He willingly gives his life for his friends. I also saved a lot of people, but that's only in movies, whereas this is in the real world. He is the real superman.

This news tells about inauguration of the president election of the united states Donald Trump. This news shows a short speech delivered by Donald Trump after the inauguration. Other than that, this news is also shows clashes between police and anti-trump protesters staging a protest.

The news is good, because it is delivered clearly. Furthermore, the reporter is not speaking fast, so the news is easier to understand.

Problem that i get when I watch this news is, sometimes I find some new words that I don not know the meaning.

The second story

I have watched a news entitled; Joan Laporta elected as FC Barcelona next president from bein SPORTS USA Channel on You tube. I watch this news on Friday.

This news tells about the result of the FC Barcelona president election, which is won by Joan Laporta. Juan Laporta declared victorious after managed beat his opponent in the election. This news also shows the celebration carried out by Joan Laporta after being elected as the new FC Barcelona president.

The news is good, because it is delivered directly from the venue of the election. Furthermore, this news is also delivered clearly, both the speaker and the news conveyed.

The problem that I get when I watch this news is the reporter sometimes speaks quickly, and it is hard for me to understand some sentences.

Rewrite in different genre

 

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. This time I will show you my experience in Extensive listening class. My assignment this time, I have to listen short stories from YouTube, then I will make the summary from the story that I have hear. After that, I will change the story into a different genre. I hope you enjoy it.

First story

Our twin sisters are the perfect couple

I have watched a story entitled Our twin sisters are the perfect couple from short stories channel on You tube. I watch the story on Friday. The link of the story is bellow the picture.

This story tells about twins named Leila and Lauren. Lauren has weighs more than Leila, because Lauren has a medical condition. Lauren always get more attention from their parents than Leila. It makes Leila angry. One day, Lauren asking for help to Leila, but Leila can’t stand it and yells to Lauren that she is loved by their parents, because she is fat. Then Lauren is cried while running, and fall down the stairs. Leila immediately called the ambulance and Lauren is taken to the hospital. After that they get back on good terms.

I like the story because the story uses clear animation, so I can follow the storyline well. The story also has a clear voice, and I can hear some words well. Other than that, this story has good lesson.

I got some new words from the story.

This story tells about a girl named Anne who always live happily with her parents. But Anne feels strange because she doesn’t look like her father or her mother. Even her hair and her skin color are also different. One day Anne receive a call from a man she didn’t know. And the man says, he wants to see his daughter. After that Anne want to find out what is going on. She pretended to go to school and follow her mother and she see her mother sit with a man. When Anne over to them and ask, the man says if Anne is his daughter. Then her mother tells to Anne the truth, if Anne comes from a sperm donor.

I like the story because the story uses clear animation, so I can follow the storyline well. The story also has a clear voice, and I can hear some words well. Other than that, this story has good lesson.

I got some new words from the story. I can also learn how to pronounce every word from the story, and some new words.

The lesson that I take from this story is, do not keep a secret that can confuse other people.

I just wanted to be cool but….

I have watched story entitled I just wanted to be cool but…. From short stories channel on You tube. I watch the story on Saturday. The link is bellow the picture.

This story tells about a girl named Nia who likes tattoos. She has a variety of unique tattoos with different meanings in each tattoo on her body. One day, she sees a man tattooed his eyes, and Nia is be interested to do the same thing. She began to work hard and gather money, because the price for an eye tattoo is very expensive. After finish gather enough money, Nia go to the tattoo place and tattooed her eyes. After a week her left eye is swollen and aching and even bleeding out. Then she goes to the doctor, but the doctor can not help her. After that her left eye blind permanent.

I like the story because the story uses clear animation, so I can follow the storyline well. The story also has a clear voice, and I can hear some words well. Other than that, this story is reminds me to take care of my health especially eye health.

 

Different genre

This story tells about a girl named Nia who likes tattoos. One night, she decided to get herself tattooed with ink that she makes herself too. She also thought about what picture that she will make. She goes to the market to buy some inks and chemical. But she does not know if she bought the wrong chemicals. When she arrives at her house, she immediately mixes the ingredients that she bought. After that she began to tattooed her arm. Suddenly her arm is pale and cold as ice. She couldn’t move her arm. Then, her arm is bleeding and excretes a lot of worms. When Nia see that she immediately shouts very loud. After she shout, she wakes up and she realized if it’s just a dream. From then on, she is scare and she didn’t want to get tattooed anymore.
